The “Lagune” ceramic vase collection is a contemporary and sophisticated tribute to the unique landscape of the Venetian Lagoon. This series revisits the iconography of the water basin through organic and fluid shapes, moving away from classical rigidity to embrace a modern and sensory aesthetic. Each vase celebrates the interaction between water and land. Their soft and enveloping shapes recall the sinuous profiles of salt marshes and islands, while the slight concavities and contours suggest the constant flow of the canals. The vibrant and deep surfaces are enhanced by tone-on-tone color combinations ranging from the grey-blues of winter mist to brackish greens, and the warm beiges of the dry land.
