“Striche” in Venetian is a dialectal term for “line” or “stroke”; “far striche” means to do great or to excel. Indeed, this coffee table is anything but ordinary. Crafted from fused (and re-fused) Murano glass, its top requires four different pours: one for the shape, one for the color, one for the pattern, and finally one for the texture. Only through this process does it achieve its distinctive sugary aesthetic. In Striche, the glass becomes enticing, taking on a gummy and brilliant appeal—ideal for bringing light and identity to both residential and public spaces.
